Why are Search, Chat, and Copilot slow?

Some Search and Chat response times can take 10+ seconds, and Copilot (related notes) loading times can take 30+ seconds. We’re monitoring all these speeds, and we have a much faster target in mind. We’ve made significant improvements to recall (which makes Search, Chat, and Copilot much more comprehensive and accurate), but you may notice higher latency than before. We’re actively working to optimize speed without compromising quality, and this is something we’re prioritizing fixing over the next few weeks.
