Why is the Mem app slow to boot?

We’re aware of slow note loading times and slow load times on initial app boot. Mem 2.0 is designed to load slower on the first time you use it on a new device (depending on account size), but then be fast immediately afterward as well as on subsequent refreshes. In contrast, Mem 1.0 loaded fast, but often would be unexpectedly sluggish.
