Setting up Text to Mem to capture notes on the go
Our Text to Mem feature is another quick way to capture notes on-the-go from your mobile device! You can connect to Mem using SMS, WhatsApp, or Telegram. Anything you text to Mem will flow into "All notes" in the Home section.*
To set up Text to Mem with any of the three messaging platforms, click on your profile pic in the top right corner of the app, then click on "Setup integrations" to find the "Set up Texting to Mem" tile (Settings --> Setup integrations --> Set up Texting to Mem).
Sending multiple texts within minutes of each other will automatically combine those thoughts into the same note.
You can even use Text to Mem with your phone's built-in voice assistant.
And it's seamless to recall any information you've saved using Mem Chat.
*Please note that images sent through Texts to Mem may not go through. We are currently working on making this specific feature more reliable.
